We are heading into the 6th week of school! Wow, time sure does fly.
Here is the link to the classroom newsletter: Berggren Bulletin
Remember that Wednesday is an Early Dismissal at 2:00 p.m.
Thursday there is no school.
We will still be having our reading comprehension assessment, high frequency word/grammar and spelling test on Friday.
Flashlight Friday was a big hit! The kids really loved reading with the lights out and the flashlights on! The next Flashlight Friday will be on October 3rd.
Thank you so much for all the donations for our 5 senses unit--They are greatly appreciated.
Have a great week,
Mrs. Berggren

Week of Sept. 2, 2014

This week we will be re-telling The Storm, building stamina in all areas of Daily 5 and beginning small reading groups. Does your child have a book or books they are reading at home? If so, please send them in labeled with their name. Students choose what they read during Read to Self in Daily 5. Students will take the books home, when they have finished reading them.
